About the role
We are seeking an Inplant Manager to work at our customer's site. This person will serve as a liaison between INX and the customer, responsible for maintaining INX's on-site ink room and producing ink. Responsibilities
- Perform technical service, color matching, ink production, and ink dispensing
- Manufacture batches of ink up to 150 lbs
- Conduct Quality Control tests on incoming and site-manufactured ink batches
- Manage inventory and perform monthly consignment counts
- Maintain customer satisfaction through superior service and sound relations
- Ensure the INX representative understands and resolves any technical problems encountered by the customer, documenting appropriately
- Direct, coordinate, and plan the activities of INX Inplant Technicians
- Communicate and train INX Inplant Technicians on operational procedures
- Provide continued operational support and conduct in-plant quality audits
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension, and math skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Suite programs and other computer skills
- 2 to 5 years of experience in the ink industry, plus 1 to 3 years of supervisory experience
- Ability to perform technical service and match colors effectively (pass a color vision test)
- Experience manufacturing batches of ink under 100 lbs
- Responsibility for inventory management, record-keeping, and housekeeping
