Job Summary
Technical Skills & Responsibilities
- Manage the full ink blending process following established management protocols.
- Perform professional color matching and maintain comprehensive customer formulation files.
- Cook up and oversee ink deliveries and monitor inventory levels to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Develop and execute plans to rework press returns and manage obsolete materials.
- Maintain accurate record-keeping for all production, inventory, and formulation activities.
- Support customer VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) compliance programs through data monitoring and reporting.
- Establish and monitor stringent housekeeping and safety procedures within the customer location.
Functional & Operational Skills
- Serve as the primary liaison between the company and the customer regarding product trials and development.
- Identify and review quality standards in collaboration with key customer personnel during qualification trials.
- Provide on-site customer service and sales backup to strengthen the client partnership.
- Manage all personnel functions, including scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain 24-hour on-call availability to address urgent quality or production issues.

Basic Qualifications
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing or production, specifically within ink management or a related field.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Leadership: Proven experience supervising staff in a technical or production setting.
- Travel: Ability to travel occasionally and manage multi-plant responsibilities if required.
