Role: Speech Language Pathologist in an inpatient setting, providing direct patient care in a specialized rehab unit. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and related abilities.Create and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessment findings and patient goals.Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication and swallowing disorders, prognosis, and home strategies.Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated, holistic care.Model proficiency by precepting new staff and contributing to a safe, quality-focused clinical environment. Qualifications & Skills Master's degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC, valid through sixty days of hire.
