Inpatient Speech-Language Pathologist

Role: Inpatient Speech Pathologist Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting. Conduct evidence-based evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, provide direct bedside and treatment area therapy, and document care in the electronic health record. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, rehab therapists, and case managers to optimize patient outcomes, support safe discharges, and educate patients, families, and staff. Qualifications and Skills: Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills, ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, excellent communication, and documentation skills. Knowledge of evidence-based practices and experience in acute care settings are preferred.
