Inpatient Speech Language Pathologist responsible for evaluating and treating adults with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Document care using Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Support safe discharge planning
- Educate patients and families
