Inpatient Psychiatry

We are seeking an Adult/Geriatric Inpatient Psychiatrist to join a 32-bed inpatient facility, providing compassionate, high-quality behavioral health care to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities Include Conducting 3–5 psychiatric evaluations dailyManaging medications and stabilizing crisesCollaborating with a multidisciplinary teamUtilizing EMR systems like WellSky and dictation tools such as Dragon / Dictation Cloud Key duties: Providing inpatient psychiatric care in a fully onsite setting, participating in a call schedule (phone-based) with a 1-week on / 3-weeks off rotation, and maintaining active involvement in patient management. Qualifications & Skills MD or DO eligible for Texas medical licenseExperience with adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry preferredAbility to work onsite in Lubbock Benefits & Compensation Salary range of $300,000–$350,000Sign-on bonus, relocation assistance, CME allowance, and 20 days PTOMalpractice coverage included This role offers leadership opportunities as a Medical Director or staff psychiatrist, with a supportive team including 24/7 nursing and three NPs, designed to promote patient-centered care and professional growth.
