Psychiatry Inpatient

About the role

Supports inpatient psychiatry services at a new TGH Behavioral Health Hospital. This position provides inpatient clinical care and case management to include the diagnosis, treatment, and management of geriatric and complex care patients, as well as active-duty military populations in an inpatient ED setting.

Responsibilities

• Provides inpatient psychiatry services and call coverage at Tampa General Behavioral Health Hospital, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
• Completes clinical documentation and other tasks as required.

Requirements

• Minimum: Medical degree from an accredited institution.
• Completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency training program.
• Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor.
• Candidates must have or be eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license.
• This candidate must obtain credentialing with USF Health and Tampa General Hospital.
• Inpatient Psychiatry experience, with one position requiring experience with working with active-duty military.
