About the Role
Provides direct patient care within established nursing standards, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating them on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment needs. Develops and documents individualized care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, ensuring effective communication across the care continuum.
Responsibilities
- Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs of patients.
- Respect patient preferences and barriers to care.
- Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities.
- Maintain a safe environment while working in a safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and caution.
Qualifications
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing (required).
- RN licensure (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (preferred).
- Less than two years of nursing experience (preferred).
