Role: The Registered Nurse (RN) Assistant Manager in Psychiatry oversees patient care, staff management, and departmental operations in a psychiatric inpatient setting. Responsibilities: Manage hiring, training, performance evaluations, and professional development of staff.Develop and oversee staffing, budgets, and operational goals, ensuring compliance with policies.Coordinate patient care plans based on assessments and medical treatments, ensuring safety and quality.Lead staff scheduling, payroll reconciliation, and communication efforts.Evaluate staff productivity and implement performance improvements.Maintain a safe environment for patients and staff, adhering to safety protocols. Qualifications: BSN degree with 2+ years RN experience; preferred 5-10 years.RN license required.Leadership skills with minimal supervisory experience preferred.
