Inpatient Nursing - LPN

About the role

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, compassionate patient care in hospice and palliative settings, supporting high-quality services aligned with organizational policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and modifying care plans with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and perform procedures within LPN scope of practice.
• Monitor patient conditions and report changes to RNs and physicians.
• Educate patients and caregivers on care procedures and health management.
• Participate in discharge planning and manage medical supplies.
• Facilitate communication among the care team and support safety and infection control protocols.
• Work flexibly across multiple locations as needed.
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Current Florida LPN license.
• IV and CPR certifications.
• Minimum of two years of patient care experience.
• Knowledge of hospice nursing principles.
