Inn Front Desk Supervisor - Full Time *Sign-On Bonus*
About the role
The Front Desk Supervisor supports and guides staff in delivering world-class guest service. Duties include handling guest arrivals and departures, managing staff schedules, ensuring departmental quality and service standards, anticipating and addressing guest needs, and assisting with Front Desk/Concierge functions.
Responsibilities
- Handle guest arrivals and departures efficiently
- Performance management and scheduling for staff
- Ensure departmental quality and service standards are met and exceeded
- Proactively listen to and anticipate guest needs, troubleshoot where possible
- Help guests create memorable experiences through Front Desk/Concierge functions
- Offer general assistance and support to the Front Office leadership team
Requirements
- A high school diploma (or GED)
- Two (2) years of related experience in a full-service, upscale/luxury hotel or resort or similar guest service environment
- Demonstrated leadership skills and/or previous supervisory/management experience
- Proven commitment to delivering world-class guest service
- Microsoft Word proficiency, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Solid knowledge of four/five-star service and quality standards
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on service
- Comfortable representing Biltmore with internal and external guests
- Ability to anticipate and exceed guest expectations
Pay
The starting pay range for this position begins at $19.44/hour and is based on the level of qualifications and relevant experience above the minimum requirements. A sign-on bonus of $1,000 is offered, paid across the first 120 days: $500 within the first 30 days and $500 after 120 days.
Schedule
The schedule can vary but is generally 7am-3pm or 3pm-11pm, Wednesday - Sunday. Weekends and holidays are required for this position.
