Production Lead Duties And Responsibilities

• Cookbook the daily production activities of assigned staff
• Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner
• Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed
• Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
• Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes
• Monitor production schedules and workflows
• Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
• Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
• Commitment to safety regarding the use of equipment

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least three years’ hands-on experience working in frontline leadership preferably within an Injection/Blow molding manufacturing environment
• Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
• Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to learn ERP systems such as Epicor
• Fluently speak, read, and write English
• Effective written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated
• Skilled in time management
• Skilled in multi-tasking
• Demonstrated ability to effectively speak in front of groups of co-workers and vendors
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage as well as to draw and interpret graphs
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, freight, and percentages
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
• Demonstrated customer problem solving skills

• Position spends approximately 10% of time sitting at a desk and 90% standing or walking
• Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range
• Must work from the Arlington site location and be able to work on time on a regular basis during regular business hours
• While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is exposed to machines in a climate-controlled production facility where the noise level high
• This position is during B shift. B shift is 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F with occasional mandatory OT Saturdays
• $19.00-$20.00 per hour. For hours worked during B shift, you will receive a shift differential of .75/hour worked
