Production Lead Duties And Responsibilities
- Cookbook the daily production activities of assigned staff
- Ensure that production goals and objectives are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor production performance, identify areas of improvement, and take corrective action as needed
- Ensure that production processes are carried out in accordance with established safety and quality standards
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment
- Train and mentor production staff in the use of equipment and processes
- Monitor production schedules and workflows
- Enforce company policies and procedures in a consistent and fair manner
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper stock rotation
- Troubleshoot production issues and resolve them in a timely manner
- Commitment to safety regarding the use of equipment
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least three years’ hands-on experience working in frontline leadership preferably within an Injection/Blow molding manufacturing environment
- Ability to examine documents for accuracy and completeness
- Skilled in use of computer and software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to learn ERP systems such as Epicor
- Fluently speak, read, and write English
- Effective written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated
- Skilled in time management
- Skilled in multi-tasking
- Demonstrated ability to effectively speak in front of groups of co-workers and vendors
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage as well as to draw and interpret graphs
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, freight, and percentages
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, and diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Demonstrated customer problem solving skills

- Position spends approximately 10% of time sitting at a desk and 90% standing or walking
- Vision and hearing must be within or correctable to within normal range
- Must work from the Arlington site location and be able to work on time on a regular basis during regular business hours
- While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is exposed to machines in a climate-controlled production facility where the noise level high
- This position is during B shift. B shift is 2:00pm-10:30pm M-F with occasional mandatory OT Saturdays
- $19.00-$20.00 per hour. For hours worked during B shift, you will receive a shift differential of .75/hour worked
