Key Responsibilities

• Performs complex and technical work within area of specialization, including performing advanced troubleshooting for manufacturing and facility equipment problems.
• Installs, modifies, rebuilds, repairs, and removes manufacturing and facility equipment.
• Maintains and trains other engineering colleagues on proper equipment use and maintenance.
• Orders and replaces equipment parts.
• Answers colleague or customer questions about the function and maintenance of products.
• Provides technical support to customers and colleagues.
• Assists with writing specifications, obtaining quotes, and purchasing repair parts and equipment.
• Incorporates and ensures safety observances are met, including use of all PPE by colleagues, ensuring guards and safety features are working, and promoting good daily safety practices and habits, etc.
• Provides guidance to junior team members. May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Typically possesses a High School diploma (or equivalent), technical certification(s), or license and 6-8 years of experience.

Knowledge And Skills

• Proficient in operating machines, hand-tools and electrical equipment.
• Proficient in troubleshooting, disassembling and assembling equipment.
• Thorough understanding of machine building, electrical wiring, and PLC programming.
• Detail oriented with strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software (e.g. CAD).
• Demonstrates ability to work independently and to work collaboratively with others as part of a team.

Compensation Range

The pay range for this position is €33,100.00 - €56,300.00 annually. Typically, a competitive wage for new hires will fall between €33,100.00 to €56,300.00 annually. Offers for this position may vary based on market data and other factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The position may also be eligible for a short-term incentive.
