About the role
TWM is seeking an experienced IT professional to join our team. This individual will be responsible for maintaining and advancing the information technology functions and services across all TWM locations.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve network infrastructure across multiple office locations
- Support enterprise network services including switching, firewalls, wireless connectivity, VPNs, and related technologies
- Configure and troubleshoot network services including TCP/IP, VLANs, DHCP, DNS, and connectivity issues
- Monitor network and system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
- Maintain network documentation, diagrams, standards, and procedures
- Support server infrastructure, operating systems, directory services, and cloud-based services
- Aid with virtualization platforms, storage environments, backup solutions, and disaster recovery processes
- Provide Tier 2/3 technical support and escalation assistance for infrastructure-related issues
- Support endpoint management, software deployment, and device administration processes
- Collaborate with the IT Manager, IT Specialist, and external technology partners to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions
- Participate in infrastructure projects, technology improvements, and future planning initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures
- Assist with mentoring and knowledge sharing with the IT Specialist as they continue developing infrastructure skills
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator, Systems Administrator, Infrastructure Administrator, or similar role
- Strong understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including: TCP/IP, VLANs, routing and switching, DHCP and DNS, wireless networking, VPN technologies
- Experience supporting network infrastructure and Microsoft-based environments
- Experience with virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery concepts
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage projects, and work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- CCNA certification or equivalent networking experience preferred
- Experience with enterprise networking, firewall, virtualization, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud-based technologies preferred
- Experience working with managed service providers preferred
