INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SUPERVISOR II

About the role

The incumbent serves as the Chief of the Business Operations consisting of imaging and deploying computers and Telecommunications Unit. This unit is comprised of IT professionals in various IT classification levels, who are responsible for business operations and telecommunication administration.

Responsibilities

• Oversees complex IT functions including in-depth systems analysis, design and administration, systems integration, testing, maintenance and operations.
• Provides full first line supervision of staff responsible for all activities associated with the day-to-day IT operations of the Oakland District Office and surrounding area.
• Manages and leads large-scale IT initiatives.
• Determines priorities among conflicting customer needs and ensures effective communication and resolution.

Requirements

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to operate a state-owned or leased vehicle.

Qualifications

The incumbent must have possession of the Minimum Qualifications as outlined in the Classification Specification.

Skills

Strong leadership skills, systems analysis, project management, and decision-making abilities.
