Information Technology Supervisor II
About the role
The incumbent works within the department’s Infrastructure Network and Help Center Office in support of the mission of the department through the protection of the confidentiality, security, and availability of department information resources and through the continuous improvement of the department’s Help Center.
Responsibilities
- Works within the department’s Infrastructure Network and Help Center Office in support of the mission of the department through the protection of the confidentiality, security, and availability of department information resources and through the continuous improvement of the department’s Help Center.
- Develops technical documentation, prepares reports, organizes and facilitates meetings, and communicates technical ideas and concepts verbally and in writing to other technical staff and management as well as program staff and management.
- Functions in multiple capacities including supervisor, team lead, team member, and independent analyst on Network and Help Center projects and initiatives.
- Works within the department’s Infrastructure Network and Help Center Office in support of the mission of the department through the protection of the confidentiality, security, and availability of department information resources and through the continuous improvement of the department’s Help Center.

Benefits
Beginning July 1, 2026, CalRecycle staff will be office centered, requiring employees to report to the office at least four days per week. This position may be eligible for hybrid telework under Government Code 14200, subject to the candidate meeting telework eligibility criteria set forth in the CalEPA telework policy and/or future program needs. Employees not residing in California are not eligible for telework. Regardless of telework eligibility, all employees may be required to report to the positions designated headquarter location, as reflected on the duty statement and at their own expense.
Pay
$8,504.00 - $11,395.00
Schedule
New to State candidates will be hired into the minimum salary of the classification or minimum of alternate range when applicable.
