Information Technology Supervisor II
Job Description And Duties
The incumbent under the general direction of the Information Technology (IT) Manager I, supervises, plans, assigns, and reviews the work of an information technology program. They personally perform the most difficult or sensitive work for Information Technology Services Division (ITSD) Field Operations / Client Services.
- Travel to institutions, and after hours support of California Correctional Health Care Services (CCHCS) software applications and systems will be required.
About the Role
This is a limited term position which may be extended or become permanent.
Qualifications
Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and two years of progressively responsible experience in information technology, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Skills
Must possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people.
Benefits
Permanent intermittent employees are subject to the same condition as full-time employees, based on the number of hours worked in the pay period.
Pay
Salaries do not reflect the recent changes.
Schedule
Part-time employees are subject to the same conditions as full-time employees, on a prorated basis equivalent to their time-base.
