Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in related field
- At least 1-2 years of IT experience with the ability to work independently
- Familiarity with common computer systems and software’s i.e., Mac OS X, Microsoft Windows, iOS, Android
- Ability to provide instructions to end users on how to resolve technological issues
- Strong problem-solving skills related to technology and common computer issues
- Understanding of Basic Computer Networking Principles
- Basic Knowledge of Windows Domains, Active Directory, and Firewalls
- Able to adapt and learn new software systems quickly on the job
- Strong communication skills
- Some weekends required
Responsibilities
- Provide support to our staff in our many veterinary hospital locations
- Work directly with the Director of Technology to troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of technological issues
- Install PC’s and computer related equipment (Monitors, Network Switches, etc.)
- Record logs of work done and the resolution into specified support queueing system
- Preform remote and in-person diagnostics and repair software and hardware related computer issues
- Troubleshoot network related issues for wireless and wired networks
- Assist with updating and preparation of PC’s for installation
- Repair and replace computer and server hardware
- Aid with IT inventory tracking through auditing and data entry
- Train end users on proper use of technologies such as Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Basecamp, and other related technologies to their individual clinics
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
