This is a 12-month program of learning and job experience for job seekers who have a documented disability.
Responsibilities
- Support IT asset Inventory.
- Responsible for set up of new systems and rebuild of old systems.
- Set up end user profiles.
- Install/configure software and firmware updates.
- Contact vendors for hardware support.
- Schedule and deploy systems to end users.
- Aid end users with logging to systems.
- Enter support tickets and answer phones.
- Field incoming requests for support via phone, e-mail, and in-person to ensure courteous, timely and effective resolution of end user issues.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma or a General Equivalency Diploma (GED) required.
- Knowledge of basic computer hardware, including installation and troubleshooting.
- Experience with desktop Windows 10 and server operating systems.
- Proficient written and oral communication skills.
- Proficient interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, listening, and questioning skills.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Ability to present ideas in user-friendly language.
- Highly self-motivated and directed.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Good customer service orientation.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
Physical Demands
- Regularly talk or hear.
- Frequently stand; use hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop and kneel.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
