Description
Hourly Position, up to 40 hours per week. Time-Limited position, CDC Grant Funded through November 30, 2027. ACA eligible for health insurance after 90 days of employment. As a deemed essential employee in the event of an emergency, you may be called upon to participate in events such as staffing a shelter, SPOC, and POD.
Job Responsibilities
- Provides quality customer service to all customers.
- Maintains and prioritizes help desk tickets.
- Troubleshoots hardware and software problems and replaces defective components.
- Escalates problems to vendors and developers for advanced debugging or software correction.
- Evaluates new technologies or solutions to improve service and efficiency of systems.
- Monitors and operates consoles to monitor computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
- Performs data backups and disaster recovery operations.
- Deploys, sets up, diagnoses, and installs IT equipment within a 12-county region.
- Prepares user instructions and documentation for the installation and operation of software and software upgrades.
- Supports network availability through necessary maintenance.
- Creates clear, step-by-step process documentation and updates existing materials to ensure accuracy, consistency, and ease of use for all team members.
- Trains software/hardware users.
- Operates consoles to monitor performance of the computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use.
- May develop and conduct training programs for software/hardware users.
Minimum Qualifications
- Information Systems Worker high school diploma or GED.
- Six months of education or experience in information security, privacy, system/network administration and support, or application development.
- Training and experience necessary to independently provide technical support to computer users in an assigned office/geographic area.
