Information Systems Technician

About the role

This position will assist the Director of Information Systems in providing information technology support for vessel and shore personnel at Magnolia Marine Transport and Ergon Marine & Industrial Supply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Information Systems in providing information technology support for vessel and shore personnel
• Work independently
• Communicate and organize effectively
• Troubleshoot a wide variety of hardware and software systems
• Work with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of college or work experience in a closely related field

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of and experience troubleshooting a wide variety of hardware and software systems
• Knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office products
