About the role
The Northrop Grumman CIDO Classified Solutions team is seeking an Information Systems Project Manager to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Palmdale, CA location.
Responsibilities
- Oversee operational aspects of ongoing (deployment) projects and act as liaison between the Program Management Office and project teams.
- Effectively manage the cost, schedule, and performance of all tasks, activities, and/or projects/products assigned.
- Review status of projects and budgets, managing schedules, and preparing status reports.
- Absess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with stakeholders, including internal and external customers.
- Gather requirements and work across multiple teams to support program SOW.
- Create and present project status, including overall status, cost, schedule, current project funding status, and identifying possible risk.
- Support CIDO management with Engineering Tools demand, utilization, and standardized processes for license lifecycle management.
Requirements
- Basic Qualifications: Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 5 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with 9 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience; OR a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree with 10 years of relevant experience; OR a High School Diploma or equivalent with 12 years of relevant experience.

Skills
- Project management tools and presenting project data like status, risk, and deliverables to key stakeholders.
- Working with an integrated team, including but not exclusive to the program manager, functional managers, and customers.
- Utilizing tools such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, MS Project), TRIO, and Service Now to effectively manage projects.
