About the role
We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Infectious Disease Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. You will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with infectious diseases. Responsibilities
- Conducting physical examinations
- Interpreting lab tests
- Inform patients about their health conditions
- Propose treatment plans for chronic and acute infectious disease conditions
- Prescribe antibiotics and propose treatment plans
- Collaborating with a team of medical professionals
- Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.)
- Prolonged standing and walking on facility floors
- Carrying a medical bag, laptop, tablet, or diagnostic equipment
- Bending, stooping, or assisting with positioning during exams
- Navigating multi-level buildings, potentially with stairs or uneven surfaces
- Lifting/moving patients
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long-term care or a skilled nursing facility
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
- DEA License
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
- A year of experience in Infectious Disease
- Great organizational and time management skills

Pay
$60,000 - $90,000 per annum
