About the role
Forklift Operator responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts within a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move pallets and materials, conducting pre-operation inspections and reporting issues.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper placement and securement of items.
- Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and report hazards immediately.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of forklift experience in industrial settings.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations; certification preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in noisy and variable environments, and operate machinery safely.
- Excellent communication, observation, critical thinking, and time management skills.
- Languages: English required; Spanish desirable.
