Forklift Operator - Second Shift

About the role

We are seeking a reliable Forklift Operator for our Reno/Stead, NV facility.

Schedule

• Monday – Friday, 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
• Occasional overtime may be required

Responsibilities

• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment, operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures
• Load or unload trucks by hand, forklift, or pallet jack
• Adjust shipping documents accordingly
• Unload incoming material and place in proper inventory area
• Inspect incoming material for damage and accurate count
• Notify supervisor of any discrepancies or damage
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred
• Prior forklift experience preferred
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) preferred
• Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools

Skills

• Moderate to heavy physical effort required, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and coarse manipulation, and reaching both forward and above head level
• Ability to tolerate temperature changes for the entire shift
• Ability to push, pull, and/or lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to safely operate assigned machinery
