Forklift Operator - Second Shift

Atlas Molded Products is a leading EPS manufacturer dedicated to producing high-performance molded polystyrene for applications such as architectural (roof, wall, below grade), geofoam lightweight fill, protective packaging, cold chain packaging, OEM components, and lost foam. Responsibilities

• General understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, equipment, operations, safety requirements, and departmental procedures.
• Load or unload trucks by hand, forklift, or pallet jack.
• Adjust shipping documents accordingly.
• Unload incoming material and place in proper inventory area.
• Inspect incoming material for damage and accurate count; notify supervisor of any discrepancies or damage.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Fluent in English (written and spoken), preferred.
• Ability to use simple math and basic hand-held measuring tools.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferred.
• Prior forklift experience preferred.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Physical Demands

• Moderate to heavy physical effort, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, and reaching forward and above head level.
• Must be able to push, pull, and/or lift up to 100 pounds.
• Must safely operate assigned machinery.
• Tolerate temperature changes for the entire shift.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Occasional overtime may be required.
