Industrial Engineering Lead
About the role
Guidehouse is seeking an Industrial Engineering Lead to deliver modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to address process gaps for various manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of modeling and simulation solutions, recommendations for continuous improvement and operational excellence, and an implementation plan to close process gaps for various manufacturing processes.
- Work closely with clients, project managers, engineers, data scientists, and other developers to deliver tools and strategies for optimizing industrial processes.
- Show a strong understanding of industrial manufacturing processes at the value stream level, process constraints and strategies to mitigate, and optimization technologies for addressing those constraints.
- Show excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED Secret Federal or DoD security clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree.
- TEN (10) years of experience related to Industrial Engineering or general engineering discipline.
Qualifications
- Experience with value stream mapping of manufacturing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with analysis of current and future state of industrial manufacturing processes and developing plan for closing gaps.
- Knowledge of discrete event simulation and supporting software (Simio, Arena, FlexSim, etc.).
Benefits
The annual salary range for this position is $122,000.00-$203,000.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
Schedule
This role may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
