Key Responsibilities
- Apply industrial engineering methods such as capacity analysis, queuing theory, forecasting, and optimization to solve operational challenges
- Develop and maintain analytical models to support labor planning, demand forecasting, and operational decision-making
- Identify root causes of performance gaps and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Conduct on-site observational studies to evaluate processes, guest flow, and operational performance
- Collect and analyze time studies, throughput data, and other operational metrics
- Synthesize field insights with data analysis to drive practical, implementable solutions
- Support development of labor models, staffing strategies, and scheduling analytics
- Evaluate opportunities to improve labor utilization and operational efficiency
- Contribute to workforce management tools and planning processes
- Extract and analyze data using tools such as SQL, Snowflake, and Python
- Build dashboards and reporting tools in Power BI and Excel to track KPIs and performance trends
- Support automation efforts to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy
- Partner with cross-functional teams and operational leaders to implement process improvements
- Communicate insights and recommendations through clear presentations and data storytelling
- Support development of business cases for initiatives presented to senior leadership
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Management Science, Decision Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in industrial engineering, operations analysis, or a related analytical role
- Experience conducting field studies and analyzing operational data
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data into insights
- Proficiency in Excel and experience working with large datasets
- Experience with data querying or programming tools such as SQL or Python
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or a related field
- Experience in theme parks, hospitality, entertainment, retail, or other high-volume operations
- Familiarity with workforce management, labor planning, or forecasting methodologies
- Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Snowflake or Azure
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma principles
