Industrial Engineer
Position Summary
Are you passionate about designing smarter operations and driving measurable performance gains? As an Industrial Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our multi-building distribution campus. You'll blend engineering rigor with strategic insight to improve productivity, optimize labor programs, and design facilities that support world-class supply chain performance.
In this highly visible role, you'll partner closely with campus leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to build a prioritized roadmap of productivity improvements using activity-based costing, benchmarking, and time-study analytics. Your work will directly influence key business decisions, operational efficiency, and KPI performance across the supply chain.
You'll be a trusted advisor, improvement catalyst, and technical expert-driving initiatives that enhance safety, efficiency, and scalability while supporting business case development and long-term growth.
What You'll Do & Deliver
Design & Optimize Facilities:
- Develop and maintain CAD drawings (interior and exterior) for complex, multi-building campuses.
- Translate business and operational requirements into layouts that support distribution, transportation, and future growth.
Align Operations with Campus Design:
- Analyze workflows and material handling needs to recommend improvements to core processes, MHE requirements (racking, forklifts, totes, etc.), and space utilization.
Build World-Class Labor Standards:
- Develop and maintain engineered labor standards using MOST methodology.
- Train and educate teams on MOST best practices and drive adoption across operations.
Continuously Improve Productivity:
- Review and refine labor models to simplify operations and enhance performance.
- Incorporate evolving strategies such as scheduling changes, process updates, seasonal demand, and environmental factors.
Shape Strategic Business Decisions:
- Act as the industrial engineering liaison for key stakeholders, supporting business case development, productivity validation, and capital planning.
- Maintain strong partnerships with external industry groups and subject-matter experts.
Support Engineering & Site Development:
- Facilitate engineering requirements and permitting for site plans, including electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, fire protection, and HVAC.
Optimize Incentive Programs:
- Partner with Operations and Finance to review and enhance incentive plans, validate performance, adjust baselines, and ensure plans drive the right behaviors and outcomes.
Experience
5+ years of experience implementing and/or managing Engineered Labor Standards (preferred)
Proven track record driving productivity improvements in distribution or supply chain environments
Education & Credentials
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field (required)
Master's degree (preferred)
Project Management Certification (required)

Qualifications
Experience with activity-based costing, benchmarking, and time-study analytics

Pay
The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
The schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
