About the role

The position involves leading and guiding electrician mechanics to ensure the plant operates efficiently with minimal downtime. Responsibilities include maintaining the facility's electrical grid, performing repairs, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable power to equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Directs all work to be completed, both daily and weekly.
  • Trains and assists all other levels of electrical mechanics, serving as the subject matter expert on all electrical maintenance issues.
  • Executes maintenance, repair, and improvement schedules for electrical systems and equipment while adhering to cost control measures.
  • Repairs, troubleshoots, maintains, inspects, and adjusts complex electrical processes to ensure uninterrupted operation.
  • Ensures adherence to all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), reporting unsafe acts and conditions, and following lockout/tagout procedures and Process Safety Management guidelines.
  • Reports all work completed, materials used, and hours worked on a daily and weekly basis.

Requirements

  • H/S, Trade School, Vocational, or advanced schooling with formal training and/or journeyman/masters certifications in electrical maintenance.
  • Must be HazMat trained.
  • 7-10 years of industrial manufacturing or skilled trades experience, including a combination of on-the-job and informal training.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with routine and non-routine high-level emergency repairs, and a comprehensive understanding of electrical controls and applications.

Skills

Master Electrician mechanics must demonstrate advanced knowledge and expertise in electrical maintenance, including preventative and emergency repairs. They should also possess a strong command of electrical controls and applications.

Pay

$2,000 sign-on bonus available.
