About the role

Your typical day will include supporting the Marvin facilities, systems, and equipment including preventive maintenance, consulting on new and existing equipment and facilities, electrical (Intertek/UL) and building code requirements and supporting issues as they arise. You'll get to manage projects while still getting hands-on experience using your skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the Marvin facilities, systems, and equipment including preventive maintenance, consulting on new and existing equipment and facilities, electrical (Intertek/UL) and building code requirements and supporting issues as they arise.
• Managing projects while still getting hands-on experience using your skills.
• Working in tight spaces and in awkward positions to run wiring and remove old wiring.
• Working at elevations on ladders and aerial lift platforms.
• Displaying consistent improvement and accuracy in the performance of electrical trade skills.
• Understanding facility electrical systems.
• Reading prints/drawings and being detail oriented.
• Able to accurately book hours toward work orders.
• Able to understand equipment manuals including proper maintenance, troubleshooting, BOM's, etc.
• Communicating customer needs to maintenance, support departments and external customers in a positive manner.
• Able to contact appropriate support resources with questions for assistance.
• Selecting the proper equipment or tool(s) for the job at hand.
• Learning and working in other trade skill areas as needed.
• Being cross-trained in multiple departments and job roles.

Requirements

• Demonstrating safe work habits and maintaining good housekeeping at all times.
• Holding a current MN Journey Workers or Master Electrical License.
• Having prior experience in electrical work.

Pay

$36 - $47.50 per hour

Schedule

Monday through Friday with some after-hours & weekend on-call when necessary.
