INDEPENDENT MEDICAL EVALUATION SCHEDULER/BILLER

Tri-State Orthopaedics / Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations is seeking a full-time Independent Medical Evaluation (IME) Scheduler/Biller for their North Hills Corporate Office in McCandless.

About Us

The Center for Musculoskeletal Evaluations provides comprehensive Independent Medical Evaluations (IME) Services for workers' compensation and liability claims. Our physicians are Board Certified with advanced fellowship training in orthopaedics, occupational medicine, ophthalmology, general surgery, pulmonary medicine, and other medical and surgical specialties. Services include examinations, detailed reports, record reviews, video reviews, addendums, job analysis, narrative reports, and depositions.

Responsibilities

• Schedule IME appointments and depositions
• Process requests for narrative reports
• Enter billing charges for IME services daily
• Manage accounts receivable and follow up on delinquent IME accounts
• Provide email and telephone customer service
• Perform related clerical and administrative tasks

Requirements

• Highly organized and efficient with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Excellent customer service skills
• Computer experience
• Experience with appointment scheduling and billing preferred
• Experience with medical practices or knowledge of independent medical evaluations helpful

Physical Requirements

• Capable of climbing a two-step ladder
• Lift up to 10 pounds overhead
• Occasional lifting of 25+ pounds from floor to waist

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Full-time in office.
