Pay
The starting pay range for this position is $24.75 - $26.75 per hour. The full pay range is $24.75 - $42.05 per hour. Pay is based on several factors, including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

About the Role
Working at Target means helping all families discover the joy of everyday life. As an Inbound Operations Team Leader, you will enable a consistent experience for guests by ensuring product is merchandised, available, accurately priced, and signed on the sales floor. This role leads inbound, outbound, replenishment, and promotional signing processes for General Merchandise (GM) and Food Sales areas. You will also oversee pick, pack, and ship fulfillment, unloading trailer deliveries, and preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
Responsibilities
- Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an easy, inspiring, and friendly experience.
- Train and hold team members accountable for guest experience and operational consistency.
- Review guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive results.
- Execute daily and weekly workload to meet department and store sales goals and guest engagement targets.
- Lead operations, freshness, accuracy, and efficiency with guidance from your direct leader.
- Assign daily tasks based on workload and guest traffic patterns.
- Assess GM backroom and sales floor areas to identify and resolve gaps.
- Support organizational and operational change.
- Build, develop, and train a team of GM Experts from selection through onboarding.
- Demonstrate inclusivity, ethical conduct, safety, and compliance.
- Model and enforce safety and physical security processes.
- Support merchandise protection strategies across the store.
- Assume store-level leadership on duty (LOD) responsibilities as needed.
- Address store and offsite emergency and compliance needs.
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, order pick-up (OPU), and Drive-Up (DU).
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Age 18 or older.
- Previous retail experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to lead and hold others accountable.
- Adaptability to current technology needs.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members.
- Effective communication skills.
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues.
- Interpret instructions, reports, and information accurately.
- Handle cash register operations as needed.
- Climb up and down ladders.
- Scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including lifting up to 44 pounds repeatedly.
- Flexible work schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays; reliable and prompt attendance.
- Ability to work in varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements.
- Capability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift.
