About the Role
The In Room Dining Server serves guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods. This position is responsible for delivering food orders, including any amenities, special needs, or requests, directly to guest rooms. The server checks completed kitchen orders against the original order and transports items in a timely manner to ensure proper food quality.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders to guest rooms in a timely manner while maintaining a friendly and welcoming attitude.
- Ensure proper food quality and set-up for service while maintaining a safe, sanitary work environment.
- Assist in setting up carts and guest amenities, and communicate effectively with staff, guests, and the kitchen.
- Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
- Anticipate guest needs and communicate any requests through the proper channels.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year of food service or related work experience; prior experience in a hotel setting preferred.
- Working knowledge of computers.
- Accurate and efficient communication skills for a guest-facing role.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to work autonomously.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Current work authorization in the United States.

Pay
$13.89 per hour plus gratuities.
Schedule
This is a full-time position requiring a flexible schedule, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
