About the role

We are partnering with an organization needing part-time help with reviewing leases and ongoing management of a portfolio of medical real estate assets. We are seeking a commercial real estate attorney, preferably with Big Law experience, for a flexible, part-time opportunity.

Responsibilities

  • Support acquisitions, asset management, and other real estate portfolio operations
  • Handle due diligence in commercial real estate acquisitions
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate asset management, including prior experience working with commercial real estate leases
  • Proficient in Excel and technologically savvy, with an interest in leveraging tools to improve efficiency and insight
  • Highly intellectually curious, with a proactive and collaborative approach

Requirements

  • 7+ years of high-dollar commercial real estate experience or M&A with real estate acquisition experience
  • Strong experience handling due diligence in commercial real estate acquisitions
  • Familiarity with commercial real estate asset management, including prior experience working with commercial real estate leases
  • Proficient in Excel and technologically savvy, with an interest in leveraging tools to improve efficiency and insight
  • Highly intellectually curious, with a proactive and collaborative approach
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice law in Tennessee (or eligible for in-house exemption)

Pay

The annualized pay for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000 when calculated on a full-time basis. Pay for contract engagements is based on multiple factors including but not limited to work experience, qualifications, credentials, location, market supply/demand, and the candidate’s preference (each candidate’s pay rate affects the client bill rate which can affect the candidate’s competitiveness for the position).
