About the role
Join a compassionate home healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care according to care plans and physician orders.
- Assess patient conditions, monitor changes, and report to supervisors or physicians.
- Document all care activities accurately and timely.
- Develop, update, and implement nursing care plans.
- Recognize and respond to patient needs to prevent or reduce risks.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention.
- Ensure infection control and adhere to safety standards.
- Maintain professional compliance with policies, regulations, and the Nurse Practice Act.
Requirements
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state.
- Current CPR certification.
- Relevant clinical assessment, documentation, and compliance skills.
- Preferred at least six months of recent clinical experience; home health experience is a plus.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail, organization, and effective communication.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform prolonged walking, standing, and other physical activities.
Additional Information
- Ability to function in diverse environments, possibly exposed to infectious materials.
- Compliance with health requirements, vaccinations, and testing as per jurisdictional regulations.
