In Home Healthcare RN - Adult Patients (Weekend Shifts)

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled homecare for adult patients, focusing on complex needs such as feeding tubes, tracheostomy, ventilators, and medication administration (training available), emphasizing compassionate, client-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Delivering and documenting quality patient care per physician orders and care plans.
• Assessing patient conditions, monitoring changes, and reporting outcomes.
• Implementing nursing actions, updating care plans, and ensuring infection control standards.
• Educating patients and families on disease management, self-care, and prevention.
• Maintaining compliance with policies, regulations, and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test (within last 12 months).
• Preferred: six months of clinical nursing experience; home health experience is a plus.

Skills

• Proficiency in assessments, documentation, and compliance.
• Effective communication, organization, problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, and respond to emergencies.
• Ability to work in diverse environments, potentially exposed to bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
