In Home Healthcare LVN - High Acuity - Nights - Part Time

About the role

We are seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide skilled home healthcare, primarily for pediatric patients with feeding tubes and medication administration needs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document personalized nursing care according to physicians' orders and care plans
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and report to the team
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care techniques
• Maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and infection control standards
• Update care plans and ensure high-quality patient outcomes

Requirements

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state
• Current CPR certification and TB test within the last 12 months
• Six months of clinical nursing experience preferred; pediatric experience is a plus
• Reliable transportation
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds and mobility tasks
• Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance
• Flexibility to operate in diverse environments, including exposure to blood and bodily fluids
• Ability to work independently and respond effectively to emergency situations
