About the Role
Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in a homecare setting, providing skilled nursing care to adult patients with complex needs such as feeding tubes, tracheostomies, and ventilators.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and documenting personalized patient care in accordance with physician orders and care plans
- Assessing patient conditions, recognizing changes, and reporting to supervisors or physicians
- Implementing nursing interventions to achieve desired outcomes and prevent risks
- Educating patients and families on disease management, self-care, and safety strategies
- Maintaining confidentiality, adhering to policies, and following infection control standards
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the practice state
- Current CPR certification and TB test within the last 12 months
- Reliable transportation and a minimum of six months of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in assessments, documentation, and compliance with regulations
- Strong attention to detail, organization, communication, and problem-solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds, move and reposition patients, and perform home environment tasks
- Willingness to work in diverse environments with potential exposure to blood and infectious diseases
- Flexibility for varied shifts, including nights, days, and weekends
