In-Home Health Care RN - High Acuity Nights - Part Time/Full Time

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for night shifts to provide skilled homecare in Austin, focusing on pediatric patients with complex needs such as feeding tubes, tracheostomy, ventilators, and medication administration.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and document personalized nursing care based on physicians' orders.
• Assess patient conditions, recognize changes, and report to the team.
• Develop, implement, and update nursing care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and self-care.
• Ensure infection control and maintain compliance with policies, regulations, and safety standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practicing state.
• Current CPR certification and TB test within the past year.
• Six months of clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Reliable transportation, strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to perform patient repositioning, lift up to 50 pounds, and respond to emergencies.

Additional Requirements

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to operate in diverse environments with potential exposure to infectious materials.
