In-Home Health Care RN - Full Time Nights

About the role

We are seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide skilled care in a home setting, primarily for pediatric patients with needs such as feeding tubes and medication administration. The role involves delivering and coordinating quality patient care according to physician orders, assessing and monitoring patient conditions, documenting all activities accurately, and developing and updating care plans. RNs will educate patients and families on disease management and self-care, while ensuring adherence to infection control standards and professional guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Providing direct nursing care and coordinating patient services
• Observing, assessing, and reporting changes in patient status
• Documenting assessments, actions, and responses in a timely manner
• Implementing appropriate interventions to reduce risks
• Maintaining compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Participating in ongoing education and skill development

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered RN license in the practice state
• Current CPR certification
• TB test within the last 12 months
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel
• Attention to detail, strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

Additional Requirements

• Experience in pediatrics or home health preferred but not mandatory
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform mobility tasks
• Ability to function in diverse environments, including exposure to infectious materials
