About the role
Join a compassionate healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) providing skilled nursing care to pediatric patients in a home setting.
Responsibilities
- Delivering and documenting patient care according to physician plans and assessments.
- Monitoring patient condition, reporting changes, and updating care plans.
- Educating patients and families on disease management and self-care.
- Ensuring compliance with policies, regulations, and infection control standards.
- Maintaining accurate documentation and demonstrating professional accountability.
Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted RN license in the practicing state.
- CPR certification and TB screening within the last 12 months.
- Six months of clinical nursing experience preferred; pediatric experience is advantageous.
- Reliable transportation and strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, perform prolonged physical activities, and respond effectively in emergencies.
- Proficiency in clinical assessments, documentation, and compliance.
- Ability to travel and work in diverse environments, potentially exposed to bodily fluids and infectious diseases.
