Implementation Specialist

About the role

The Implementation Specialist will install software from various vendors in support of iWAREHOUSE product sales, train customers on hardware/software interfaces, and provide ongoing backend support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Work with the iWAREHOUSE sales project team prior to the sale to ensure current system requirement information and understand current functionality of iWAREHOUSE product offerings.
• Collaborate with the customer and their IT staff during implementation to establish the required environment for connecting iWAREHOUSE hardware to the customer network, servers, and client computers.
• Train or assist in training customers on truck hardware interfaces and available software.
• Conduct web-based training to support iWAREHOUSE products.
• Assist Raymond West field technicians with IT-related questions about iWAREHOUSE products.

Requirements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers, management, and employees.
• Maintain effective working relationships with employees, co-workers, and managers across departments.
• Willingness to work off-hours as needed and assume additional responsibility when required.
• Proficient in IT aspects, including setting up permissions, server setup (virtual and physical), Wi-Fi connectivity, software installation, and customer support.
• Experience with MS Windows OS, command-line network troubleshooting (ping, ipconfig, tracert, etc.), TCP/IP protocol, and network encryption (WPA, WPA2, Enterprise level with and without cert files).
• Willingness to attend seminars and classes to update and improve skills.
• Capable of making sound decisions considering relevant facts and conditions.
• Professional appearance in accordance with company policies.
• Willingness to travel out of town overnight as necessary.
• Able to interact with customers via phone, email, and web-based interfaces.
• Willing and able to learn quickly, perform accurately, and adapt flexibly.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to comply with the employee handbook.
• Associate Degree in Computer Science preferred, or five years of related experience/training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Travel

50% (local and nationwide). Must be insurable by Raymond West.

Physical Requirements

• Based onsite in the office with required travel to customer facilities.
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Specific vision abilities required: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Specific pay may be influenced by factors such as relevant experience, education, and work location.
