About the role
The Implementation Consultant serves as a strategic partner for clients with moderately complex needs. You’ll lead consultative discovery sessions to design customized system configurations that drive efficiency and maximize value. With a focus on accurate data conversion and seamless client onboarding, you'll balance legacy data, validate configurations, and provide proactive support throughout implementation. This role requires strong analytical thinking, client relationship skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
This is a 100% in-office role based at our Rochester, NY location. Remote or hybrid work is not available. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours (EDT/CDT).
Responsibilities
- Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences throughout the implementation process for moderately complex clients, including facilitating meetings and maintaining communication.
- Provide smooth transition and post-implementation support, including system maintenance and issue resolution based on client feedback.
- Assist clients in data migration, data mapping, and data validation to ensure accurate and complete data integration into the HCM software.
- Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze business requirements related to HCM functions (e.g., payroll, HR, time, and labor).
- Review and configure the system with clients to align software capabilities with their needs and expectations.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including sales, product SMEs, and project managers, to deliver high-quality implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation-related matters, escalating critical concerns when necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- 1+ years of customer service or client-facing role.
- Client-centric approach with excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, data manipulation, and analysis).
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software platforms and leverage their capabilities.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving abilities to overcome obstacles and find creative solutions.
- Project management skills to independently prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with high organization and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods (7-8 hours per day).
- Proficiency in operating a computer, phone systems, and typing, including using multiple software programs simultaneously.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00/hour, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
