About the Role
Thomas Jefferson University’s College of Health Professions is establishing a pool of experienced professionals to fill part-time teaching positions for courses in Biology, Chemistry, and other science-related disciplines. Instructors should be dynamic, experienced educators who apply active student-learning methods in the classroom.
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging, student-centered instruction in assigned science courses.
- Apply active learning techniques to foster student engagement and comprehension.
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills in an independent teaching environment.
- Maintain attention to detail and a strong commitment to student learning outcomes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of professional or teaching experience in the relevant field.
- Graduate degree in the appropriate or relevant scientific discipline.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective, student-focused learning experiences.
