Immediate Human Resources Manager
About the role
This is a contract role covering a leave of absence, offering the opportunity to step into a fully autonomous HR leadership position and make an immediate impact with minimal ramp time.
Responsibilities
- Lead the HR Function End-to-End
- Deliver consistent, strategic, and compliant HR guidance in a fast-paced environment
- Partner closely with leaders on employee relations, performance, and workforce strategy
- Navigate complex situations with confidence, including investigations, terminations, and risk mitigation
- Own full-cycle recruiting across varied roles (sales, corporate, administrative, contractor)
- Collaborate with hiring managers to attract and secure top talent quickly and efficiently
- Drive Performance & Organizational Effectiveness
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, and engagement strategies
- Serve as the subject matter expert on multi-state employment law and worker classification
- Oversee wage/hour compliance, leave administration, and audits
- Partner with legal when needed to ensure best-in-class compliance practices
- Optimize HR Operations & Systems
- Manage HRIS platforms (ADP TotalSource & ADP RUN)
- Maintain clean, accurate data
- Streamline onboarding, training, and HR processes to improve efficiency
Requirements
- 3+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a standalone or HRBP capacity
- Proven experience supporting multi-state workforces
- Strong background in employee relations, compliance, and workforce support
- Experience working with diverse employee populations (salaried, hourly, sales, contractors)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
