About the role
Seeking a nursing leader to manage day-to-day imaging department operations, including off-site locations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, staff performance, and education
- Implement and direct Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities
- Participate in budget management
- Serve as a liaison among patients, staff, medical teams, and departments
- Provide complex nursing care, monitor and administer medications during procedures
- Maintain accurate record-keeping
- Advocate for patients
- Ensure staff and patient education
- Demonstrate supervisory skills with attention to detail and follow-through
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience in hospital or clinical settings
- Critical care background and supervisory experience preferred
- Current Georgia RN licensure or NLC/eNCL multistate license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications
