Imaging RN Supervisor - Interventional Radiology

Role Overview

This position involves managing the daily operations of various imaging departments, including off-site locations, to ensure efficient service delivery and high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and staff performance monitoring.
• Provide staff education and lead Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities.
• Participate in budget preparation and management.
• Serve as a liaison between patients, technical staff, medical staff, and other departments.
• Administer complex nursing care, including medication management during procedures.
• Maintain accurate record-keeping and advocate for patients.
• Ensure proper training for staff and patients, demonstrating supervisory skills with creativity and attention to detail.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in hospital or clinical settings.
• Critical care background preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
