Imaging RN Supervisor - Interventional Radiology

About the role

Oversee Imaging department operations, managing daily functions across multiple locations, staff scheduling, performance monitoring, and staff education. Implement Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities, participate in budget management, and act as a liaison between patients, staff, medical personnel, and other departments.

Provide complex patient care, including medication administration during procedures, record-keeping, and patient advocacy. Supervisory skills, attention to detail, and consistent follow-through are essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily departmental functions across multiple locations
• Handle staff scheduling and performance monitoring
• Provide staff education and training
• Implement Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement activities
• Participate in budget management
• Act as a liaison between patients, staff, medical personnel, and other departments
• Administer medications during procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Advocate for patient needs

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited nursing school
• At least 5 years of hospital or outpatient clinical nursing experience
• Critical care background preferred
• Supervisory experience preferred
• Current Georgia RN licensure or multistate license
• BCLS and ACLS certifications upon hire
