About the role

Idle Hour in North Hollywood is looking to hire experienced and reliable Line Cooks! This is a 5 shifts per week opportunity.

Requirements

• English necessary; bilingual preferred
• Self‑starter looking to hone & expand their craft
• Primarily night shifts
• Availability to work weekends
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for 8+ hours

Responsibilities

• Prepare food for service (e.g. chopping vegetables, butchering meat, or preparing sauces)
• Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
• Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
• Stock inventory appropriately
• Work efficiently and in a friendly manner
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Maintain kitchen safety and sanitation
